A compact industrial side table designed to pair steel structure with warm wood and a subtle resin accent. Built as a nightstand/auxiliary table that explores material contrast and a clean, minimal silhouette.
Why
To craft a durable, small-scale piece that embodies industrial character while feeling light—an experiment in proportion, finish, and the visual “lift” of a piece that seems to float.
How
Modeled in Fusion 360 / Inventor, detailed with fabrication drawings, and produced by hand: metal cutting, welding, grinding, priming, and paint; wood selection and white-wax finish; resin color selection and pour; final assembly and finishing.
Sketch
First concept drawn in SketchBook, defining proportions, structure, and the piece’s floating look
Render
CAD renders used to refine materials and joints and to produce the fabrication drawings for manufacturing.
